Before any of this, I ran small businesses: bars and restaurants, as a General Manager and Beverage Director. That meant lean budgets, working out which customers were actually worth chasing, and living with the results every month. One of those businesses tripled its profits in three years while I was running it.
From there I moved into branding and marketing for a liquor company and helped expand their reach across Colorado. Then I took a software engineering bootcamp and moved into tech properly.
So I know what owners deal with: tight margins, slow months, and marketing that has to pay for itself. I come at this from three directions at once: I have run a business, marketed one, and I can build the thing myself. Most studios have one or two of those. It is the combination that lets me tell you which of your three problems is actually the problem, and then go and fix it.
I started DigitalNova because I like branding and design, and I like helping people get their ideas off the ground. What I learned along the way is that the help people actually want is help scaling, at whatever stage they are at.
